Finding your footing- YOGA in the park

“ BE WHERE YOUR FEET ARE”

There is an expression “ BE WHERE YOUR FEET ARE”. Under these unprecedented times, most of us had to pivot, adapt and flow within a great amount of uncertainty.  At times, feeling as if we are just floating through life, with not much to hold on to. Finding our footing again, dropping the anchor to root into our present is an important daily practice.

IMG_1658.JPG

Each day is an opportunity to being again.  Taking the time to slow down, tune in, and notice what we are already a part of. Each moment is an opportunity to reflect and live in the direct experience. Learning to “witness, and relate to ourselves, others and the daily aspects of life, in the present is a practice that can only enhance our wellbeing and experience here. We will explore and build connections with our inner and outer landscapes. Turning inward to ground and root into the present, so that we can turn outward to better relate and connect on a daily basis.

Join me in the month of MAY for mental health awareness.  Through different mindful and creative classes, workshops, I will bring a focus to how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Exploring our inner and outer worlds through the act of observation to better understand who we are, who we were, and who we would like to become.

Mi Casa es Su casa- Creating Space

Mi Casa es Su casa- Creating Space

The direct translation of Mi Casa es Su casa means my house is yours house. “Make yourself at home”. Within this expression, this workshop focuses on the meanings of the relation of spaces we physically inhabit both inward and outwards. We first begin by going inward to notice the way in which we “relate” see, feel, and nourish the vessel we inhabit. Observing our temple, and sanctuary in which we call our body and mind.

We can then turn outward to invite and share our experience with others and learn to relate and connect. Bringing attention to the physical spaces in which we inhabit daily. Both at home or as a guest. Creating and designing spaces that are conducive to what WE INTEND to manifest there. Whether it be for rest, work, connection or creativity.

The season has now changed into Spring and we have entered a new cycle within the equinox. Giving us the perfect time to bring awareness to our intentions for the upcoming year. Prior to manifesting, we must CREATE space both internally and externally. Taking the time to clear and cleanse away the residual clutter that we are holding in our bodies and minds, and all the spaces that surround us on a daily basis.
