Finding your footing- YOGA in the park

“ BE WHERE YOUR FEET ARE”

There is an expression “ BE WHERE YOUR FEET ARE”. Under these unprecedented times, most of us had to pivot, adapt and flow within a great amount of uncertainty.  At times, feeling as if we are just floating through life, with not much to hold on to. Finding our footing again, dropping the anchor to root into our present is an important daily practice.

Each day is an opportunity to being again.  Taking the time to slow down, tune in, and notice what we are already a part of. Each moment is an opportunity to reflect and live in the direct experience. Learning to “witness, and relate to ourselves, others and the daily aspects of life, in the present is a practice that can only enhance our wellbeing and experience here. We will explore and build connections with our inner and outer landscapes. Turning inward to ground and root into the present, so that we can turn outward to better relate and connect on a daily basis.

Join me in the month of MAY for mental health awareness.  Through different mindful and creative classes, workshops, I will bring a focus to how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Exploring our inner and outer worlds through the act of observation to better understand who we are, who we were, and who we would like to become. 


Thursday may 13th - BEGIN AGAIN- “Finding your footing”

Join me in the Mont Royal park for a moment in finding our footing, dropping our anchors to root into our present.

GOING INWARD - Come sit with me, root into what is THERE, and be STILL to witness the breath and vitality that moves through you.

:Yoga flow /Breathwork - Rejuvenating & grounding yoga flow, to restore the body and mind. Breathing exercises to calm the nervous system.

GOING OUTWARD - Come walk with me and EXPLORE

: Walking meditations through nature and urban setting connecting

Come express with me and CREATE

: creative mindful exercises, to engage deeper into the act of noticing and heal through simple creative rituals.


WHAT TO BRING :

Yoga mat

Notebook & Pen

Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes

optional - creative medium of choice ( camera, iphone, sketchpad)

.Investment - $15 ( to be paid by e-transfer or cash, prior to class )
